Just kidding, man. I usually agree with your blogs and I wasn't sure Treliving would get re-signed either, especially as time was dragging on. I have a feeling Ken King isn't the easiest guy to work for and tries to control a lot of what he doesn't know. |

I think it's kind of cute how King has all of a sudden become the bad guy. All he is is a liaison to the ownership group. What has he ever done for anyone to care about him at all one way or the other? |

King was the guy who was blamed for the delayed rebuild, holding onto iggy too long, kipper too long, etc ....who knows if there was any credibility to rumours referring to gm's in Calgary not being allowed to tear it down years earlier but that was the popular theme |

Great news for the flames  now he needs to make some magic in this offseason to get this team to the next level! Way to much talent to be out this time of year, and I hope that they can retain Fernand and it's Bouma that gets picked up, I'm betting .. (sorry)  Bouma will look good in Vegas  all the best at the draft and offseason guys |

After Craig Button brought in Darryl Sutter, King promptly fired Button and promoted Sutter to GM. It did work for a year or two but ended up setting the organization back. I'm a little perplexed by how the new arena thing is going but you're right, that may be coming from ownership more than KK. |

Yeah seems like the perfect candidate to have all the hate and angst of Flames fans directed at, I know I don't like him.. I am sure by the time a new arena comes around he will be public enemy #1 in the city.
